The highest-ranked and most powerful fallen angel, Satan (adversary), also called the Diablos / Devil (slanderer / accuser), has unfortunately been mischaracterized by many as being a cherub, when he is in fact a seraph. His name is not Lucifer, for the Hebrew title (from Yeshayahu / Isaiah 14:12), helel ben shahar, simply means : shining one, son of morning. The reason for the misunderstanding of the Devil's classification is the unfortunate misinterpretation of both Yeshayahu (Isaiah) chapter 14 and Yechezkel (Ezekiel) chapter 28, which do not contextually refer to him, nor any cherub angel, but instead, are poetic prophecies which foretold the fall of two prideful, greedy and corrupt leaders, the King of Babylon and the King of Tyre.
Fallen cherubim (winged guardians), seraphim (winged fiery serpents) and other malakim (angels / messengers) were worshipped as elohim (gods) within unbiblical pagan religions. These human kings both arrogantly believed that they were elevated to the divine status of being one of those divine angelic beings, an el (god), and lived greedy and murderous lifestyles in an area which the Scriptures (within Ezekiel 31, etc.,) call the Garden of Eden and mountain of God (consisting of the cedar forests of Lebanon, Mount Hermon, etc.).
“…All the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the depths of the earth.” (Ezekiel 31:16)
History confirms that both prophecies were fulfilled, as these two kings were destroyed by their enemies, and great was their downfall. As Solomon wisely wrote, "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall." (Mishle' / Proverbs 16:18)
Have you ever wondered why serpents and dragons are so common within the ancient Holy Bible Scriptures, pagan mythologies, cultures, and religions all throughout the world, spanning back many millennia, even to the very beginning of humanity? If these are only imaginary creatures, then why has this theme endured so long as having withstood the test of time without ever fading? It is because they aren't imaginary after all, and have a firm basis in reality which we should not overlook to our detriment, but take seriously for our benefit.

"I saw Watchers in my vision, the dream-vision. Two men were fighting over me ... holding a great contest over me. I asked them, 'Who are you, that you are thus empowered over me?' They answered, 'We have been empowered and rule over all mankind.' They said to me, 'Which of us do you choose to rule you?' I raised my eyes and looked. One of them was terrifying in his appearance, like a serpent, his cloak, many-colored yet very dark. ... And I looked again, and in his appearance, his visage like a viper. ... I replied to him, 'This Watcher, who is he?' He answered, 'This Watcher ... his three names are Belial and Prince of Darkness and King of Evil.' I said (to the other Watcher), 'My lord, what dominion (have you?)' He answered, 'You saw (the viper), and he is empowered over all Darkness, while I (am empowered over all Light.) ... My three names are Michael, Prince of Light and King of Righteousness.'" (translation Prof. Robert Eisenman)
Within Shemot (Exodus) 7:9-12, Yahweh commanded the brother prophets Moses and Aaron to go before the pagan Egyptian pharaoh and challenge the sorcerers of their pagan serpent cult. Aaron's rod (which was cast upon the ground) miraculously transformed into a golden serpent which completely devoured the shape-shifted serpents (rods) of Egypt's head magicians. This symbolized the divine Good Serpent of Yahweh conquering the evil serpentine forces of Satan. We see another case in Bemidbar (Numbers) 21:6-9,
"Then Yahweh sent among the people fiery serpents [seraphim nahashim], and they bit the people, so that many of the people of Israel died. And the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against Yahweh and against you; pray to Yahweh, that He take away the serpent [נחש , nahash] from us. So Moses prayed for the people. And Yahweh said to Moses, “Make for yourself a fiery serpent [ שָׂרָף , saraph], and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.” So Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on a pole; and if a serpent bit a man, he would look at the bronze serpent and live."
Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. (Yochanan / John 3:14-15)Yeshua also commanded His disciples :
...Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. (Matisyahu / Matthew 10:16)
The serpents represent the highest order of Seraphim angels who are the closest to the throne of Yahweh, along with the Cherubim (winged guardians) and Ophanim (living angelic wheels). [Isaiah 6:3 ; Ezekiel chapters 1 and 10; Revelation 4:8] Likewise, the dove symbolizes the Holy Spirit. [Matthew 3:16] We should be wise like the serpentine Seraphim angels who guard and worship Yahweh with the Cherubim, and also be loving, peaceful and gentle like the Holy Spirit, who is the Teacher, Comforter and Helper.
The image (below on the right) is our medical symbol today. Look familiar? It is none other than serpents on a pole with wings, representing healing. Even though it has been called the caduceus (herald's staff) which is allegedly carried by the false deities Ascelpius and Hermes (in Greek mythology), this is a satanically clever counterfeit. The fact is that it IS a direct reference to Messiah, and the holy Seraph (serpent-angels) who surround the throne that are filled with the divine fire of YaHWeH.
The prophet Yeshayahu (Isaiah) records his experience of seeing the serpentine Seraphim beings in 6:1–3:
"...I saw Yahweh sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of His robe filled the sanctuary. Above Him stood the Seraphim [accurately translated as "fiery flying serpents"]; each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew."
Seraphim may also be the guardian winged Mushushu dragons (whom the Mesopotamians believed in) that guarded the throne of God, the gates of heaven and the sacred groves of Eden. In Egyptian religion, a saraf was a 4 or 6-winged Cobra guardian. Each Pharaoh wore a headdress which was shaped like the outstretched head of a Cobra Seraph angel, combined with the protruding forehead Uraeus symbol of the protective pagan goddess Wadjet, used as a symbol of sovereignty, royalty, deity and divine authority.
"Gabriel, one of the holy angels, who presides over the Ikisat [winged serpents ; dragons], over paradise, and over the cherubim." (1 Enoch 20:7)
The Israeli army calls their AH64 Attack Helicopter the Seraph, because of its clear allusion to a sky-soaring, fire-breathing dragon, and a winged dragon Seraph has been painted on the fuselage. It is common to see flying fiery serpents (dragons) used in symbols within their military forces. This image is the Seraph (Flying Serpent) insignia of the Israeli Paratroopers Brigade :
The Hebrew words, nachash and seraph are used interchangeably by the prophet Moses (in Genesis, etc.), and both can contextually refer to serpents, either natural or supernatural :
“Yahweh Elohim said to the serpent [נחש, nahash], “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all cattle, and above all wild animals; upon your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall crush your head and you shall bruise His heel.” (Bereshith / Genesis 3:14-15) (see also 2 Corinthians 11:3)
Here is an important Scripture which many do not pay close attention to, but rather tend to overlook :
It's sneezings flash forth light, and its eyes are like the eyelids of the dawn. From its mouth go flaming torches; sparks of fire leap out. Out of its nostrils comes smoke, as from a boiling pot and burning rushes. Its breath kindles coals, and a flame comes out of its mouth. (Iyob / Job 41:18-21)
This is a unique description of a fire-breathing dragon from the Scriptures which does not contain fictional mythological tales but only pure truth. There are supernatural good and evil angelic Seraphim (fiery winged dragons), and throughout history, natural (physical) flying reptilian dragons also existed, but are believed to hidden deeper underground in mountainous tunnels and deep sea trenches where they evade detection to survive. There are many eyewitnesses who claim to have encountered reptilian (draconian) entities on various mountains and inside deep caves, in the ocean, etc.
Not only did ancient human civilization have contact with various remnants of the dinosaurs, including flying reptile-dragons with fire-breathing abilities (as indicated within the Holy Bible's book of Job 41:1-34, as well as numerous other historical records around the world), but likewise, have been experiencing the existence of the combined reptilian hybrid offspring of Satan and his fallen angels who have been creating abominable Nephilim via various genetic bloodlines for many millennia.
The word, Nephilim [נפילים] is derived from the Hebrew root, naphal (to fall), and specifically means : fallen ones. Fallen beneha'elohim [ בני האלהים] (the sons of God) were angels who disobeyed Creator Yahweh, and sired their Nephilim offspring in an attempt to defile the bloodlines of the human race, and prevent the birth of Messiah via the lineage of Chawah (Eve).
Likewise, it is part of Satan's plan to resist the apocalyptic return of Messiah Yeshua, and escape these lower dimensions, as well as the soon-coming wrath of the Almighty who will judge him for his sins. Of course, all of his efforts will ultimately be futile, for his fate has already been sealed, and he will be removed from tempting and destroying humanity any further, when he is cast into the eternal lake of fire in Hell (as written in Revelation 20:10). This supernatural war via natural bloodlines is mentioned within the divine prophecy of Bereshith (Genesis) 3:14-15.
The Scriptures state,
"The Nephilim were on the earth in those days and also afterwards--when the sons of God [בני האלהים / bene'haelohim / who were fallen angels] had intercourse with women, they gave birth to children, who became the heroes and legendary figures of ancient times....Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God [Elohim], and the earth was filled with wickedness. God saw how corrupt the earth was, for every creature had corrupted its way on the earth. Then God said to Noah, "I have decided to put an end to every creature, for the earth is filled with wickedness because of them; therefore I am going to destroy them along with the earth." (Bereshith / Genesis 6:4, 11-13) (see also Bemidbar / Numbers 13:33)
This is specifically referring to the hybrid demi-gods who were the offspring of fallen angels and humans, and exhibited extraordinary powers and were worshipped by the majority of humanity. These Nephilim hybrids (many of whom were violent, cannibalistic giants, according to Numbers 13, 1 Enoch, and many other historical records) built unusually large and heavy stone megalithic and ziggurat (pyramid) temples for their devotees, who carved idols by their influence, and memorialized them in pagan mythologies and religions worldwide. Many of these deities appeared as serpent-people and other animal-form hybrids combined with human DNA.
These Nephilim hybrids are also mentioned within the book of 1 Enoch (who is quoted within Genesis 6, Jude 1:14, and the books of Jasher, Jubilees, Watchers, Giants, etc.). Since some of the fallen angels have human appearances, their hybrid children are also human-like, whom many UFO-abductees and eyewitnesses worldwide have seen.
In ancient Indian mythology, there were the Nagas and the Sarpa (humanoid lizards/serpents), including Mucalinda who overshadowed/protected Buddha. The Hopi Indians speak of a serpent race or Sheti (the snake-brothers) who supposedly came back and forth from the heavens to the earth and eventually retreated underground. Some of Cherokee, Choctaw, and Chickasaw Indians teach that there was a horned serpent-man (called Sint Holo) who gave them wisdom and their language, and that he dwelt in an underwater cave.
In India's ancient Vedic literature, etc., there are some ancient manuscripts which speak of human-like, as well as serpent-like beings who flew around in vimanas (space rockets / crafts). Likewise, the Egyptian records tell of the Neteru (which is translated as: 'the Watchers who came in heavenly boats'). Within their hieroglyphics, there are also symbols of winged flying disks. The Assyrians also believed in Ashur, the wing-disked god. In Bab'el / Babylon (which means: Gate of god), there are records of the star-gates, in which it was believed that they were portals through which the star-deities could travel from space into our earthly dimension.
Within a few of the Celtic myths, there are writings about serpents and dragons visiting them, and shortly afterwards, there was widespread infertility and strife. In Athens, Greece, there is a belief that their first king was Cecrops, being half-man and snake. Greek mythology makes mention of some of the titans/gigantes who were winged half-man and serpent beings. The Chinese and Japanese have a lengthy history of the Long (dragons) who appeared in physical and non-physical forms.
The Japanese also believed that there existed the Kappa, who were reptilian humanoids. In China, it is believed that their first emperor was Huang-Ti, who is said to have been half-human and draconian, whose mother was impregnated by a beam of light emanating from the Alpha Draconis star.
From the continent of Africa comes a story from the Zulu shamans of a reptilian race who controls the Earth, called the Chitahuri. Australian Aborigines speak of a reptilian race living underground and governing men. They also claim that they are descended from a race of draco-humans.
Adolf Hitler (from Germany) was fond of drawing reptilian humanoids and claimed to be in contact with them. He also spoke about these supermen living in underground bases, and that they had fierce eyes and were fearsome. It has been reported by some sources that he had certain high levels of his SS group manufacture disk aircraft (which resemble the UFOs that are widely seen globally). In current times, there are still many millions of sightings reported all around the world by eyewitnesses and abductees. There is an ongoing and progressive conditioning and programming of millions of people (via the entertainment industry, news media, etc.) to invite and accept the help of so-called benevolent aliens to assist our evolution into a higher state of consciousness. It is malevolent trickery and deception. Those who reject God will become ensnared.
"The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs and lying wonders...and for this reason, God will send them a strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they may all be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:9,11,12)
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears to hear, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned to fables." (2 Timothy 4:3,4)What are the fables which this passage is speaking of? It is satanic deception in the form of fictional myths about the alleged origin, nature and purpose of these gods, the alleged claims that they benevolently came to this planet to seed humanity and create us in their image and likeness, and have been monitoring, genetically-modifying, and guiding the human race towards the next step of macro-evolution and unified, universal consciousness.
All throughout the vast and beautiful expanse of outer space, we can clearly see the stars and their constellations which were created by Yahweh specifically for "signs and for seasons, and for days and years" (Genesis 1:14). Encoded within the heavens is the original Story of Salvation-Redemption, as intended by our Creator who speaks His eternal message to us through His creation.
The heavens are telling of the glory of El, and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world. (Psalms 19:1-4)
The 4 and 6-winged Cherubim are somewhat similar to the 6-winged Seraphim, and are part animalistic in variations of appearance, having either one, or all 4 faces : of a bull, lion, eagle, and man, according to Ezekiel chapters 1 and 10, and also Revelation 4:8. These faces are believed to represent specific expressions of the multi-fold nature of Yahweh our Creator who reveals His characteristics in both literal and symbolic ways.
In Bereshith (Genesis) 1:14, we are told that Yahweh Elohim created the stars to be “signs for seasons, for days, and for years”. The earliest calendar we know of was developed by the prophet Enoch based on the 12 constellations of the Mazzaroth (Zodiac), and the 4 cardinal seasonal points of the Summer and Winter Solstices and Spring and Fall Equinoxes. The four points also represent the Taw (Cross) of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah, upon which He was crucified, as the sacrificial seraph / serpent, according to Bemidbar (Numbers) 21:8-9 and (Yochanan) John 3:14-15. These four seasonal change points and the four constellations residing there at the time of Creation form the faces of the four Cherubim.
In Ezekiel 1:10, the Hebrew word for Bull, Showr, is mistranslated as Ox, and in Revelation 4:7, the Greek word for Bull, Moschos, is mistranslated as Calf. The Ox or Calf faced Cherub factually represents Taurus (The Bull). Aleph, the first letter of the Pictographic (Hieroglyphic) Hebrew language, is shaped like a horned bull head. It was later rotated upside-down, and evolved into the modern English letter A. These four literal cherubim are also representatives of the four constellations at the change of each season:
1) Man = Aquarius (the human water carrier) : Spring Equinox
2) Bull = Taurus : Summer Solstice
3) Lion = Leo : Fall Equinox
4) Eagle = Scorpio (Many Middle-Easterners, including the Babylonians considered Scorpio to be an Eagle constellation) : Winter Solstice
The photo below is of an ancient mosaic pavement of a 6th century synagogue at Beth Alpha, Jezreel Valley, northern Israel. It was discovered in 1928. Signs of the mazzaroth (zodiac) surround the central chariot of the Sun (a Greek motif), while the corners depict the 4 turning points (tekufot) of the year, solstices and equinoxes, each named for the month in which it occurs--tequfah of Tishrei, tequfah of Tevet, tequfah of Nisan, tequfah of Tamuz.

As you know there, are 12 constellations in the mazzaroth (zodiac) and these four are the four corners of the 12 constellations:
1) *Aquarius – human water carrier
2) Pisces – fish
3) Aries – ram
4) *Taurus – bull
5) Gemini – twins
6) Cancer – crab
7) *Leo – lion
8) Virgo – virgin
9) Libra – scales
10) *Scorpio – scorpion (Eagle for Babylonians)
11) Sagittarius – archer
12) Capricorn – mountain goat
Within the book of Revelation, the apostle Yochanan (John) gives the four constellations in reverse order because he is viewing them not from earth but from above in Heaven. This book mentions these four living creatures and seems to parallel a series of constellations:
Revelation chapters 2-3: Seven Stars of the Pleiades (the seven stars of Pleiades in inside Taurus)
Revelation 5: Lion of Judah (Leo)
Revelation 8: Eagle flying in midheaven (Scorpio)
Revelation 12: Virgin Mother (Virgo)
Revelation 15: Pouring out Chalices (Aquarius)
Revelation 22: River of Life (Aquarius)
The heavenly Mazzaroth (מַזָּרֹות) Zodiac has 12 main constellations which accurately begins with Virgo (representing the virgin Mary, and Israel) and ends with Leo (which symbolizes the Lion of the tribe of Judah, of Revelation 5:5), representing the victorious triumph of Messiah (as the ultimate Warrior from the bloodline of Judah) over evil.
This original Story of Redemption has been diluted and perverted throughout the millennia by pagans, and converted into astrology for the purpose of worshipping mythological deities, gaining occult knowledge via divination, etc. The Scriptures mention a few of the various heavenly Mazzaroth constellations within Job 38:31-32, Revelation 12:1, etc. Not only does the heavenly Redemption Story reveal the past, but also prophetically foretells the future in perfect unity with the Biblical Scriptures.
One of the constellations is erroneously called Hercules, which is more accurately called Yeshua, and depicts Him holding a rod in His hand and standing with his foot upon the constellation of Draco. He appears to be beating a Dragon with his club (rod) of judgment (wrath).
The snake is shown in the branches of a tree — most likely representing the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (in Genesis 2:17). This is a prophetic sign which points to Genesis 3:14-15, where Yahweh told Satan the serpent (seraph) angel that the seed of Eve (Messiah) would crush his head, after he bruised His heel (during the crucifixion). Serpents and scorpions are predators known for striking the heel of a human (to inflict their deadly poison) whenever attacking.
The Son of Virgo is none other than Yeshua the Son of Yahweh Elohim (via the virgin Mary), while Scorpio directly points to the soon-to-rise Anti-messiah. The Son of Virgo is Leo, the Conquering Lion who shall one day come to destroy Hydra, the many-headed Dragon.
Messiah said to His disciples :
"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you." (Luke 10:19)
What else does the Scriptures say in relation to this specific topic?
1) Draco – a dragon curled around the northern polar star and whose tail covers a third of the circle of the heavens.
2) Cetus – the Leviathan or sea dragon.
3) Hydra – the many-headed dragon, whose tail also covers a third of the ecliptic path of the sun.
"And no wonder; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel [Greek ἄγγελος /angelos] of light." (2 Corinthians 11:14)
"For our struggle is not against [human] flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Ephesians 6:12)
"It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. "It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed." (1 Corinthians 15:52)
The fallen supernatural serpents and scorpions (Satan and his wicked angels) will be bound and cast into the underworld, and likewise, the natural (physical) serpents will no longer bite and inflict poison, for evil and harm shall be subdued in totality, with righteousness, selfless love and holy unity rightfully restored.
"The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them. Also the cow and the bear will graze. Their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper's den. They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Yahweh as the waters cover the sea." (Yeshayahu / Isaiah 11:6-9)
During that time period, Yeshua (Jesus) the King will reign over the nations in peace from Mount Zion in Jerusalem, Israel. Isaiah 2:4 says that all human weapons will be changed into plowshares, and there will be no more war. According to Revelation 20:7, after Satan is briefly released for a season to test those who were born during
the millennium, he will finally be permanently stopped, and receive divine
judgment (being thrown into "the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels", as written in Matthew 25:41). Righteousness shall reign forevermore, ages without end. Glory be to Yahweh!
"In that day, Yahweh will punish with His sword-- His fierce, great and powerful sword-- Leviathan the gliding serpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent; He will slay the monster of the sea." (Yeshayahu / Isaiah 27:1)
"And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (Revelation 20:10)
After Satan and all his wicked hosts are permanently banished to the underworld lake of fire, our Creator will purify the heavens and Earth with fire, and make all things new again. The third Heaven (city of the New Jerusalem) will descend to the new Earth, and Yahweh will once again dwell with humanity, just as it was in the beginning in the Garden of Eden. HalleluYah!!!
"Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” (Revelation 21:1-5)
